Be a part of building bridges in our community that connects people to a passionate life in Christ.

Small groups at Ember are made up of people just like you. Group members provide weekly support, study the Bible, and pray for one another.
We are a congregation of believers committed to sharing the message of Christ and guiding others towards faith in Him. As a church, we aim to love those in our community with the same love Christ has given to us. The work of our church is aimed at directing others towards the Savior in the hopes that they will encounter the one true God and be transformed by His gracious love for them. Through all we do, say, and preach, we pray that we will shine the light of Christ to all those we encounter.

You're not alone here at Ember! Dive into a community focused on loving God and loving people. More Ministries

Thank you for visiting us online! I want to welcome you to our church family and invite you to come visit us on Sunday mornings. We are a great bunch of people just trying to do our best to serve Jesus with our individual talents. You won't see us in suits but you're welcome to wear one. You're also welcome to wear your jeans! We're a laid back community serving the Lord together as His hands and feet. We're always looking for more teammates to join us and we don't have tryouts so drop in, say hello, and serve with us!

Brandon grew up as a military brat in a small town in Eastern Colorado. When he graduated, he joined the active duty Air Force and was stationed at Davis-Monthan AFB in Tucson, AZ. After his initial six-year enlistment, he joined the Reserves and moved back to Colorado where he worked as a software engineer until retiring after 21 years in the Air Force. After that God called him back into ministry so he packed up his family and moved to Junction City, KS the summer of 2026.
While Brandon considers himself non-denominational, he largely grew up in the Calvary Chapel and Baptist churches, most recently serving at an Independent Christian Church.
Brandon enjoys cheering on the Denver Broncos and the Colorado Avalanche, his hometown teams, despite being in the sporting lion's den of Kansas. You'll also see him out on the golf course trying to get his handicap down to respectable numbers.
Giving is a part of our worship to God. It has been said that you can tell nearly everything about a person by the way they spend their money. Whether you are tithing in obedience to Malachi 3:10 or contributing over and above your tithe as an act of sacrificial generosity, your money will help us minister God’s hope and healing to our community and beyond. We give in order to be blessed, not for fear of anything negative in our lives. We give out of gratitude and love! You can give your gift safely and securely online - this is one of the easiest ways to give to our church. Thank you.

Our partnerships with different churches and organizations are united together under one vision: to bring glory to God by making disciples of Jesus Christ. We are invested, involved and connected in these relationships for the long run, learning from one another and ministering to one another. We initiate all partnerships and maintain them by a mutual agreement. Outside our partnerships, we have support relationships that allow us to resource and assist churches and organizations. These relationships are not necessarily relationally driven, formalized or holistic. They simply give us the privilege of blessing others. Learn More
